Giving Thanks

Better late than never, I suppose.

Just want to thank my readers. You guys have been very supportive in this time of angst for me and my family and I appreciate it.  I've received many nice comments and a few personal emails. Although I haven't been able to respond to each and every one of you, I am grateful for your support.

This Thanksgiving was particularly fun. I had been looking forward to enjoying the time with my family and friends. We have a huge gathering and everyone exchanged stories about the hurricane and how it affected them. I did my share of wine drinking - but..it's all good! and getting better every day!

Today, it's tradition that we spend the afternoon (before gorging ourselves with food at our own celebration) to volunteer at an area shelter to feed the homeless.

We all have a lot to be thankful for. On this day, keep in mind there are always those that are less fortunate than us.

Believe me, I know...so enjoy!
